The shape of the name
Forma is Latin for shape — and shape is the whole job. Long before colour or sheen come into it, a microcement finish lives or dies on what’s underneath: a substrate that’s actually flat, true corners, the right fall to a drain. Get the shape wrong and no amount of trowelling fixes it later. That’s why the name stuck.
I’m an approved installer of the Viero Oltre system, trained directly on the product I use. Microcement doesn’t forgive shortcuts — substrate preparation and layer timing matter as much as the final trowel pass. I’d rather turn a job down than rush it.
